The Interpretation - The Self and the circumstances

Prior to the interpretation, it can now be considered whether there is a life in which the personal self has sufficient certainty to put itself into the world, or of a ruler 1 who finds sufficient chances to manifest itself trough one of the cycles. In case of an imbalace between the two, the Self must conquer a field of expression for himself again and again, or strongly determining circumstances may be found in which the ego has to grow in, take on the circumstances and learn to recognize itself in it.

The degree to which the horoscope is determined by the Moon sphere in which an I-process takes place or not, or by the (obligatory) circumstances in which he or she is placed (25.4) varies greatly from person to person.

 

Two approaches

Viewed from the horoscope, this means that life can be approached from two angles. On the one hand from an I, whether or not formed (16.2) with possibly the ability to bring this into a process of regeneration (15.4). On the other hand from the input of the circumstances.

In the combination of both, a central theme can emerge which is elaborated as an essential aspect-of-being by the person concerned in this life of time and space within his or her self-cast field of experience (16.2) and through the analogous context. continues to work as a contribution to the larger encompassing whole (1.4).

 

The communication options

The Moon (with a positive position) can bring out its image by projecting it onto the environment. The projection, whether powerful or not, makes him more or less self-creative in this. Conversely, the Moon (in negative position) sucks in the image from the environment that is projected onto himself as an self-identification.

The Ascendant and ruler 1 give the possibility of expressing the abilities and forces in the environment (9.2). In the second instance, the planets and rulers in the first house can also serve as vehicles for this, albeit that the possibility of expression is conditionally linked to that planet in the first house and thus comes out colored.

 

Integration and manifestation
The relationships between Sun, Moon and Ascendant, together with the Pars, can indicate the degree of integration in the collaboration between these three stages of revelation (10.2).

 

Example interpretations

In the context of this site, attention will now turn further to the underlying objective structure and expression possibilities of the ego. The above points can serve as a kind of framework around which the interpretation - depending on everyone's methodical working method or personal preference - can be further developed. In connection with this, I will limit myself here to highlighting the I-structure and the underlying structural abilities. I will omit the description of the character and life course for privacy reasons. If applicable, and if privacy permits, the professional direction can be indicated.

 

Illustrations

In the horoscope examples discussed below, I use a specific notation system:
a. The axis Ascendant-Descendant is represented as an actual horizontal line and the axis MC-IC as the vertical perpendicular to it.

b. The design of the frame of houses follows the previously described (9.2, 9.3) criteria.

c. The planet symbols are depicted as discussed before (18.2.a).
d. In the horoscope, the planet positions for the birthplace have been calculated taking into account their latitude.
e. The recently discovered planet Eris has also been incorporated in the chart. Because of Eris’ large latitude, its placement in Sign can vary greatly in one and the same period.
e. As symbol for Eris, the sign ps is used (18.2.a), and is considered to be the ruler of Taurus.
g. For the sake of a better overview, a graphic image of the Table of Aspects will be included, the so-called spider web. This does not contain extra information, but offers a quick overview of the network of mutual relationships between oppositions and their bridges, any channels for expression via the Ascendant as well as the horoscope’s internal coherence as a whole. Especially in the case of many aspects, this representation can be a useful addition to the disconnected information in the Table of Aspects.
